Population Pyramid Fundamentals Workshop
Designed and delivered a 6-week intensive program for 45 urban planners and government analysts from 8 Malaysian state agencies. Participants learned to interpret population structure shifts and forecast service delivery demands across age cohorts. Post-program assessment showed 89% could independently analyze regional pyramid data.
Dependency Ratio Masterclass for HR Professionals
Partnered with 3 major Malaysian corporations to build workforce sustainability models. Trained 120 HR and strategic planning staff on old-age and youth dependency calculations. Teams now use quarterly dependency metrics to inform hiring, pension planning, and succession strategies across their 25,000-person workforce.
Retirement Age Policy Impact Assessment
Conducted a 4-month research initiative examining Malaysia’s aging workforce dynamics. Developed an interactive framework showing how extending retirement age from 60 to 65 affects labor force participation across sectors. Report informed national pension policy discussions and reached 15 government agencies and think tanks.
Labor Force Participation Forecasting Course
Created a 10-module online program teaching forecasting methodology to economists and statisticians. Covers cohort-component projection methods specific to Malaysia’s context. 200+ students across government, universities, and research institutions now use these frameworks for 5-year and 20-year workforce capacity planning.
